Another adventure! We drove from Gaborone via Francistown to Nata where we stopped for one night at Nata Lodge and had a look at the Makadigadi Salt Pans . Then we continued to Kasane and the Chobe River at he very northeastern corner of Botswana. On the way there, we had herds of elephants and giraffes next to the road. We stayed for two nights at Chobe Marina Lodge and had plenty of opportunities to watch the amazing wildlife in Chobe. There is apparently 45 000 elephants in the area! After Chobe we crossed the Zambezi River into Zambia where we stayed in Livingstone and saw the mighty Victoria Falls. On our way back home we picked up Naledi at her village close to the Zimbabwe border. It was an amazing holiday and the boys handled the many hours in the car brilliantly, we covered roughly 2 500 km in one week.
