We are a Swedish/Danish family living in Botswana in Southern Africa since March 2005. Before coming here we lived in Malmö in Sweden.

We have a some what mixed background; Jonas was born in Denmark but lived in Kenya for many years as a child. Charlotte was born in Sweden but has studied in England and met Jonas while working in Pretoria, South Africa. Jens was born in Stockholm (16 September 2002) and Axel in Malmö (13 February 2005).

Since coming to Botswana, our family has grown considerably. It now also includes our wonderful maid Naledi who lives in a small house next to ours. Lazarus, her son, works as our gardener 2 days a week.

Last but not least we have Smilla the dog. She was born in August and is a mix Great Dane/Boerbull. She is already a big girl and she will be a real giant when she gets older. Lately we have adopted another dog, Bina, which means dance in Setswana. She is a true street corner mix.

To be fair we should also mention our biggest baby; the Land Cruiser 100 which takes us everywhere we want to go!
