We arrived in Gaborone 14 March - Axel was exactly one month old. We came from a cold and snowy Sweden to a very hot Botswana (35C). The first three weeks we stayed at Motheo Apartments in central Gaborone.

Those first weeks were hectic as we had to look for a house to rent, a car to buy, a nursery school for Jens and to learn to find our way around Gaborone. Jonas of course also started his new job with the UN and sleep with a newborn baby wasn't much to talk about. No words can describe the help we got from Lena, our au-pair who was brave enough to accompany a family she didn't really know to the darkest of Africa :-)
